Unique in the World!
...KNNK is a one-of-a-kind radio station, owned and operated by Buddy and Alva Lee Peeler
under the corporate name of Liveoak Broadcasting Corporation, begun in 1992 with the
purchase of an AM/FM Combo at Levelland,Texas (which we later sold, in the year 2000.)
KNNK's first day of broadcast was June 13, 1998.  Its format is simple and forthright:
positive upbeat music, a loving spirit, and an encouraging word from our friendly,
homegrown, 100% Texan (Drawls & all)  announcing staff.  We're proud to be "family
friendly,"featuring gospel and inspirational music that is Biblically-inspired and hopefully
a constant reminder of the unconditional love of Jesus!
Format by Daypart:

Positive Upbeat Gospel

7:00 pm-Midnight

WAKE UP TO THE GOOD NEWS!
KNNK's "Wake Up Show" 6:05-7:00 am will have  you positive and upbeat from the start...
heard Monday-Saturday, and includes our first look at news each morning at 6:45(about)-

THROUGH THE DAY:
Enjoy family friendly gospel and inspirational music, with brief devotionals sprinkled in
throughout the day, and news at the beginning of each hour.

RELAX & ENJOY:
We receive many, many e-mails and phone calls (many of them phoned at night and left on
our recorder while we're sleeping) commenting on our Beautiful Music Instrumentals.  This
is one of the finest collections of music ever assembled, and is all from our own library.
Selections range from beautiful religious pieces, to great melodies of the ages (from
classical to show tunes, by a wide mix of artists including Chet Atkins, Floyd Cramer, the
Glenn Miller Orchestra, Acker Bilk, Bent Fabric, Henry Mancini, Mantovani, Percy Faith,
Roger Williams etc.etc.etc.  Listeners tell us they find this music perfect for reading a book,
painting a room, driving alone (or with the family), studying(?) - (that's what some kids tell
us)! ... building a fence, mowing hay, harvesting grain, serenading the farm animals, and
last but not least, dozing off when the time comes.

SERVICE BEYOND THE CONTRACT:
We do lots of things simply because we appreciate our listeners, and try to accomodate them.
This includes helping to identify songs heard on KNNK and helping you find it for  your
own enjoyment.
If you're inquiring about songs heard during the day, it helps if you call or e-mail while the
song is playing or as soon as possible afterwards, as sometimes listeners are having to
"guess" at titles, and it may be difficult for us to zero in on a specific song.
As to our evening instrumentals, KNNK is running on automation and we can't answer the
phone til the next day.  Please take note of  when the song  played (Central time)...
day and date, as close to exact time you heard it, and your best description of the style of
music.  Our computer keeps a log of the songs that play at night for 45 days so we can
most likely track it down for you if we have this information.
We try to reply to all these inquiries and hopefully can help you find the music  you're
interested in.

KNNK APPRECIATES YOU!
